As 5G adoption grows to more than 1.5 billion connections by the end of this year, the 5G monetisation imperative will escalate. To that end, it is important to understand 5G consumer behaviour and how it has changed as 5G adoption has moved beyond the early adopters. This dashboard, based on a consumer survey across eight of the world’s largest telecoms markets, provides all the relevant data related to 5G consumer behaviour, in a consistent and structured way – a valuable asset for companies looking to formulate or adjust their commercial strategies and plans for consumer 5G.

The dashboard provides data for 2020, 2021 and 2022 (drawn from the respective consumer surveys). A number of filters allows the comparison of data for individual countries and for specific consumer segments (e.g. by age, smartphone brand owned, frequency of engagement in gaming and video services). The dashboard covers a broad range of areas, including 5G upgrade intent, barriers to 5G adoption, 5G consumer experience, 5G ARPU uplift, consumer interest in 5G use cases and 5G bundling, 5G users engagement with digital activities such as digital entertainment, 5G mobile data usage, 5G as a smartphone purchase driver and 5G churn.
