This report is available to those subscribed to the Digital Consumer module.
As momentum for eSIM accelerates around the world, it is important to understand how consumer awareness and behaviour for eSIM are changing. This dashboard, based on our December 2023 consumer survey across seven of the world’s largest mobile markets, provides all the relevant data related to eSIM consumer behaviour in a consistent and structured way – a valuable asset for companies looking to formulate or adjust their commercial eSIM strategies and plans.
The dashboard provides data for 2021, 2022 and 2023 (drawn from the respective consumer surveys). A number of filters allows the comparison of data for individual countries and for specific consumer segments, including by age, mobile network used, type of device used, smartphone brand owned, spend on mobile services and more.
The dashboard covers a broad range of eSIM areas, including consumer awareness of eSIM, drivers of awareness, interest in using eSIM, reasons for not being interested, eSIM as a smartphone purchase driver and more.
